FAQs
PsychLogic
Is my data private?
Absolutely. All data saved in the app, including Registration Number, Activities, CPD Cycles, and photos/PDFs attached to activities are encrypted and stored in your private iCloud account. Neither the developer nor Apple can ever access or modify your data in any way.
What happens to my data if I want to stop using the app?
In the ‘Sync & Backup’ section in Settings, select the ‘Generate Report’ option. You can export the data for a specific CPD cycle or All Cycles. If you want a nicely formatted PDF that includes any supporting documentation (copies of certificates), choose the PDF Report option. The CSV option will export a standard CSV file that can be opened by your preferred spreadsheet application (Numbers, Excel, etc). The CSV option does not include any photos or PDF certificates you’ve attached, but does include all other data for your activities.
What happens if my subscription lapses?
The free version of PsychLogic is designed to give you as much time as you need to trial the app to see if it and its features are useful to you. The only limit is that you can only enter in up to 3 activities. If you’ve been paying for and using PsychLogic for some time with many activities recorded and your subscription ends, nothing happens to your existing data. You just won’t be able to add any new activities until you renew your subscription.
Can I access my data on multiple devices?
Yup! Your data syncs via iCloud between your iPhone, iPad, and Mac. For example, you can use your phone to enter in activity details for a conference while you’re there and find it waiting for you on your larger devices when you get home.
